The Classic X battery is a cordless groove router from the inventor of the Lamello system and mills a precise 4 mm groove for wood joints. The proven and well thought-out groove router is quick and versatile to use. It is the basis for the extensive range of fixed, self-tensioning and demountable connectors. The Classic X battery stands out with its carefully machined aluminium components. The milled stop surfaces on the support plate, swivel stop and stop angle make precise contact with the workpiece. The precise interplay between the moving parts during milling produces parallel grooves for a perfect fit of the workpieces. The biggest plus point of the Lamello groove cutter is the multifunctional stop angle. It is slid onto the backing plate for safe handling when routing into the surface. In addition, it is used to accurately set the groove position 0-50 mm or to carry out mitres even more precisely by stop on the outer surface of the furniture. The advantages of the Classic X battery over the mains-operated flat dowel cutter are the short set-up time and higher mobility in the workshop and on the building site. The machine in the case is immediately ready for use without first connecting sockets, cable reels or extractors. Larger workpieces in the workshop can be worked on all sides without tripping hazards or having to move a cable first. The P-System groove cutter also convinces on the construction site, operating on powerful 4.0 Ah batteries from the CAS system. Working on site is easier without the hassle of power connections or extractors.
